Everything was great! Thanks to the welcoming host, Sue, I felt right at home. The Garden Flat had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I stayed for four nights in late August, and it was warm at night thanks to the air-con's heating mode. The shower was also a real treat: really strong hot water pressure – just what you want at the end of an active day in Sydney. The location is handy: the house is in a residential area (so there are supermarkets nearby), yet it's only a 7–10 minute walk from Milsons Point station, from where you can easily get to the other side of the harbour by train or ferry. Sometimes I preferred to walk across the Harbour Bridge, because it's quite close and really atmospheric. Within walking distance of the house there's a fantastic lookout with views of the Sydney Opera House. I spent the evening of my first day there and was unbelievably happy. I'd definitely recommend this place – thank you so much!
