The hotel bar stays open until 3 am for residents, which is rare these days. Everything I needed was in the room, including a small refrigerator and iron & board. The location is excellent for walking into Limerick city. The views of the Shannon River were gorgeous. Car parking was reasonable at €10 a day. Be aware that the ramps at the car park entry are very tight for Kia SUV size cars.

The hotel is centrally located, the rooms are spotless, and the staff were extremely helpful.

The river view from the rooms was gorgeous and the rooms themselves were very comfortable; strolling along the river to the castle was a delight. However, our room was connected to the next one and we could hear the neighbor’s TV loudly, and the tinny pop‑tempo music in the restaurant made us eat elsewhere.
