The location was good, and I suggested a regular inspection of electrical wires and water pipelines so that the problems we encountered wouldn’t happen to others. We only needed two rooms, but the booking didn’t go through for this property, so we had to reserve three rooms; one room was completely unused and we paid a lot for it, which was unfortunate.

The Tribe in Panchgani has a quietly special vibe. Surrounded by mountains with the river visible, it’s calm without feeling dull. The property itself is charmingly quirky with cottages on stilts, two German shepherds on guard, two horses grazing, and a nearby waterfall trek tempting you. Just note that there’s a short but steep climb from the parking to reach the property, so maybe leave grandma at home. Aside from that, it’s as peaceful as getaways get. Big thanks to the staff for being so helpful and to the chef for solid meals. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to unplug without feeling stranded.

The location and view are fantastic, everything is prepared fresh with amazing taste, and they’ll accommodate any request if it’s available. The property offers an amazing view of the Krishna River, and the food prices are reasonable. We stayed in summer, it rained a bit, but we still felt the need for AC in the afternoon; otherwise, it wasn’t necessary.
