The furniture is extravagant and the room design extraordinary, the location is great right on the beachfront promenade, the food was superb, and the staff were very courteous and friendly. There are too few power outlets, a daily bottle of water in the room would be desirable for this price, and the walls need repainting.

The hotel is beautiful and sits directly on the beach promenade, just a few minutes' walk from the pier and a short distance from the city center. We found the parking fee to be quite expensive.
The location is perfect. Breakfast was tasty, and the staff at breakfast were very friendly. The massage and cosmetics services are very good. There is no kettle in the room, and the minibar is empty. The couch is stained and worn out. The bathroom fixtures are modern (black) but inappropriate, and their function is partly illogical (I only noticed after two days that the tap at the sink also provides hot water). The bath towels are too small.
