The room was comfortable and reasonably priced, shared bathrooms were clean and modern, the pub downstairs served excellent meals, and the staff were helpful and friendly. No negatives – excellent quality old‑school pub accommodation.

The place was comfortable, clean and quiet for a hotel, but it was a bit pricey for just one night in a standard room with shared bathroom facilities.

I slept well on the comfy beds, the place was clean, and the bathrooms had just been renovated.

The renovation of the older‑style country hotel was very good; the room was pleasant and comfortable, cleanliness was excellent, and the shared bathrooms had a delightful makeover and were sparkling clean.
