The location and services were good.

My third stay here, because the location was amazing. Traveling with a family member, I needed an extra keycard, which the owner/staff kindly provided when asked. He was also very nice to talk to! I have stayed in three separate rooms so far; the condition varies and isn’t perfect, but nothing major or deal‑breaking, especially for the size, location, and price.

It was cheap and clean, and not too far from the station. The slope from the station was a bit steep. A siren or alarm‑like sound echoed in the hallway, but there were no staff and no announcement, which made me uneasy. I didn’t see any staff during my stay.

The location is really great, just a short walk over the street toward the main road and you’re in the heart of Myeongdong, about a 5–10 minute walk from Line 4’s Myeongdong station depending on how tired you are. Shopping is a breeze and there are plenty of food options nearby; right across the hotel is a tiny breakfast spot and a 24‑hour convenience store a little further down the slope. I wasn’t sure if it was a one‑off, but whenever someone opened or closed a door the room door would vibrate, so at first I thought someone was knocking. It turned out to be air pressure, and the sound insulation is poor—you can hear the hallway, luggage being pulled, footsteps, the AC compressor humming, and the fridge compressor whine at night, so people sensitive to noise might need earplugs (they’re available at the front desk) or just accept the sound. The towels also had a noticeable odor.
