Vajra House became more than just a guesthouse for me—it turned into my home, office, workshop, and a place for a complete reset. I arrived for a couple of days, planning to leave soon, but the welcoming vibe and lively space made me stay a whole month. Whenever I leave for a few days, the idea of finding another spot never even crosses my mind—I know I’ll return. What makes it amazing: every detail is comfortable—there’s a kettle and a fan in the room, so you can settle in without running out. The shared kitchen is huge, spacious, and well-equipped, making cooking a pleasure. The vibe and community are unique: few people around create an intimate, cozy atmosphere. Guests from all over the world are busy with cool projects, and it’s fascinating to watch. It’s a place where you actually want to wake up, plan a new chapter, and create. Plenty of cool spots in the common areas let you work with a laptop, making it ideal for productivity. I love the traditional Newari carved wooden window shutters; opening the balcony lets you see the city and temples from your room. The Patan location is perfect—quiet, with Durbar Square and charming streets just a stone's throw away, yet the guesthouse offers complete privacy and safety. The hosts and staff are tactful and nice, making you feel part of a big family. If you want to truly experience Kathmandu, get inspired, and have an ideal base for living and working, this is 100% my spot. Highly recommended!
