Old Parola Seaside Inn

They kindly informed us that the property was under renovation in case we wanted to make changes, though they assured us the rooms were not being refurbished at that moment. The photos shown were edited to hide the room’s defects; the floor is damaged and the bathroom is quite poor.

“Great beach front accommodation”

The staff were very attentive and answered our call to customer service immediately. The beachfront location and cold air‑con, even though the unit is old, were great, and they let us borrow kitchen tools because we wanted to cook. We even got to play with the friendly dogs and cats on the property. The hotel sits right on the beach and next to the lighthouse. On the downside, the sink water pressure was much higher than the shower’s, and my friends thought the common kitchen was fully equipped, but we had to ask the front desk for the equipment.

The place is right beside the road, so it’s noisy with dogs barking and motorcycles or tricycles passing by, which made it impossible to sleep for two nights. My bed kept shaking whenever someone moved in the adjacent room.

Nothing positive to mention. There were a lot of ants and crickets.

“Old Parola exceeded our expectation with its clean aesthetic room. We love it!”

Old Parola is just a short walk from Sabang Beach, and I was surprised by how aesthetic the room we booked was and how amazing the balcony view looked. I fell in love with Baler again. They also own a restaurant across the street, The Shack, and the food was amazing! We’ll definitely return and book the same room next time. Our stay made our Baler trip unforgettable. The only downside was the dogs outside the door at night; I couldn’t leave because they might wake up.
