The location is very good and the staff extremely friendly; there is no window blackout, and the shower is too low.

The room and bathroom were well furnished, there was an elevator and breakfast was good. We booked the room in advance in May for a Saturday‑to‑Sunday night. On Tuesday during our stay, a woman called to apologize that we had been forgotten, that nobody would be at the hotel, and that the room key could be left somewhere under the bombons. I refused – I wanted to hand the key over personally and address any issues. We arranged to stop by on Friday before 14:00 to pick up the key in person at reception. On Thursday another call came, the woman apologized again, saying the receptionist would not be there on Friday until 14:00, but only until 12:00. I was quite angry and seriously considered canceling the stay. Finally another woman called and we arranged for the key to be handed over on Friday at 17:00. That worked, the key functioned on Friday. I had a night out with my fiancée, so we didn’t use the room (except to test the key). We were supposed to spend the wedding night in the room on Saturday, and at 13:45 that day we found the key didn’t work and we couldn’t put our stuff in the room. Since the wedding ceremony began in 15 minutes, we didn’t try to fix it and a friend of the hotel helped us get a replacement key after the ceremony. In the end we got into the room, but it was still uncertain whether we would be able to sleep together for the first time at the hotel. Trumf definitely has room for improvement.

The downstairs Indian restaurant had a noticeable odor.

Parking was available right at the property, but although the hotel was in the center, nothing else was happening around. The toilet had a “disinfected” placard, yet it was obviously not cleaned. I cleaned it myself.

The front‑desk staff were friendly and helpful, the air conditioning was good, and the room was spacious with comfortable beds. The parking was closed at night, which is reassuring if you’re traveling by motorcycle. The bathroom trash can was not cleaned, full of stale apples. The breakfast buffet was sparse and disappointing.
