Even though it was a bit overcast at first, watching the sun set was truly moving, and the cushions in the room were fantastic; the view outside was simply superb. In summer, the fact that the front faces the sea means many children run around, and their footsteps made a noisy, thudding racket.

The room was spotless, letting us relax with the kids without worry, and being right on the beach let us dash out with just a few belongings. We paid to use a large tent, chairs and a table set up on the sand, which made for a very comfortable whole‑day beach outing, and the staff were very easy to talk to and never gave us any cause for concern.
