“uma experiência que deixou muito a desejar”
The hotel sits in a convenient spot, close to Uber, the beach, and shopping centers. The building is large, rooms are fairly sized, beds are comfortable and showers work well. The on‑site restaurant deserves a shout‑out, especially its hand‑made pizza. Breakfast is limited but covers the basics. When I checked in, I was assigned a room that smelled strongly of sewage. After I complained, a technician came and sprayed something, saying the issue would resolve itself over time and offered no immediate fix. I couldn’t wait to see if the odor would go away, so I asked for a room change. The front desk clerk said the manager had to approve it because there were no other rooms in the same category. When the manager arrived, it became clear the staff was unprepared to handle the situation. To top it off, after the first night I left the hotel in the morning and returned late in the afternoon to find my room door only propped open after the cleaning crew had finished. I consider that a severe security lapse. When I reported it to reception, the staff insisted that only the maid had access to the room, not realizing that leaving it open made it vulnerable to anyone. The issue was closed with a simple apology, without any real acknowledgement of how serious it was.
