The rooms were modern and comfy, and the service was very nice, but I chose this spot for its proximity to the university; if I were on a city break it wouldn’t be ideal, and there were a lot of students hanging out in the public areas.

I found the place in a solid spot, close enough to walk or hop on a bus, and there were several tasty restaurants nearby. The room was tidy and comfy, and the amenities were solid. The only hiccup was that if you need to check in late, you must call first and you can't enter the building until the phone call is done; I was flying solo on a busy Friday night and felt uneasy giving my info outside.

The price was reasonable, and with a bit of effort I could even walk to the free tram zone; they also managed to give me a room with a great view. On the downside, the sink drainage was poor and the hangers were awkward to use, but the low cost made those issues tolerable.

The place is quite comfortable, always clean, and the staff are always helpful; it's within walking distance of the CBD.
