Located on a private beach at Mayan Playa Bacalar in Bacalar, this hotel offers direct beachfront access and serene garden views of the lake. Everything was absolutely excellent; nothing we disliked.

Very pretty, everything was new and within walking distance of the lagoon with a beautiful view; the calm and peaceful atmosphere was perfect for unwinding and disconnecting from city noise. The only downside was the lack of breakfast, though they were very willing to help and accommodate our requests.

The place looks very nice and new; the beds are super comfy and everything from the room to the common areas is very clean. The staff are genuinely friendly and, since there isn’t an on‑site restaurant, they helped us order lunch and dinner from nearby spots. Even though breakfast wasn’t included, they offered fresh fruit and biscuits in the morning. The pier is beautiful and the lagoon stretch in front of the hotel is really lovely.
