Breakfast was sparse, with half a stale baguette for two and a soggy croissant with lukewarm coffee; we expected more from the hosts, but nothing arrived. The room was damp, the bathroom had a stair exit from the shower, the toilet was too high, the ventilation was noisy, and the bath towel was rough; it’s a shame there’s another hotel right next door at the same price.

The host was very friendly and the reception was great; the location was very quiet. Nothing was wrong, everything was perfect.

The setting, calmness, and the presence of chickens were nice. The minimalist layout could be much better with some upkeep, a few repairs, and a touch more humanity; a less “standard” breakfast would be welcome.

The surroundings were very relaxing, but the toilet in our room was inconvenient for somewhat larger guests and the height of the shower steps was a bit of a concern; otherwise it was great for a weekend of recharging.
