We adored the privacy and snugness of the cabin, just the right size for a two‑person escape. The gas log fireplace was a highlight, the kitchen fit our needs perfectly, and the coffee added a nice touch. Charging ports by the bed were handy, Wi‑Fi was speedy, and the TV connected well. The bed was supremely comfortable, making for a relaxing stay. On the downside, the parking spot is designed for a small SUV, not a large truck, so we were grateful to park close to the garage. I didn’t realize the cabin required a short climb when I booked, so I’d suggest arriving during daylight if you’re not used to night driving in the area.

A cozy private cabin in a great spot with a scenic backdrop. However, toiletries and coffee supplies were limited, so bring your own.

A steep, gravel walk led us to the cabin, and the property had suffered erosion from last September’s rain. The driveway’s loose gravel made it tough to navigate when wet. We parked in the owner’s driveway and then trekked up with luggage and groceries—a real climb. The wet, mossy steps to the unit caused me to trip, though I was uninjured. Fair enough, the area is heavily forested, so such conditions aren’t unusual, but a heads‑up would have helped. The dog deposit details in the cabin instructions differed from the contract; the total was $100 plus tax for two nights. Cell service was nonexistent.
