“Disappointing experience”
The staff were truly outstanding, rescuing our stay with kindness, helpfulness, and plenty of useful tips; if I could rate the personnel alone, it would be 10/10. The gardens and greenery are beautiful, featuring huge crabs, giant tortoises, and even baby turtles in their enclosure. However, the hotel feels completely outdated, with rooms that look like dens, dark and poorly lit, making them seem dirty despite being clean. Breakfast was subpar for a 4‑star hotel, offering only chicken nuggets and watery coffee, earning a 4/10. The nearby beach is unappealing, littered with seaweed that should have been cleared in front of the hotel. The payment policy was outrageous, requiring full prepayment through an external mechanism before arrival. Overall, I can’t see how this qualifies as a 4‑star property; it feels more like a 3‑star, and improvements like free snorkeling rentals or better breakfasts would make a difference.
