Standing right in front of the Central Station made getting on and off trains or the Alibus to the airport a breeze. The building looks new, but overall maintenance is poor: light sockets were broken, a door panel fell off, and the shower box was clogged with limescale. The room’s small window faced a courtyard that also housed a bar’s chimney exhaust, so the only fresh air I could get was the smell of fried food. The toilet was completely blocked and unusable; when I reported it, they promised a quick fix but never followed up. A shame, because the potential was high.

The breakfast was fine. The door panels detached when closing, the TVs were dead, the sockets didn't work, and they even caused electric shocks.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the spot on Garibaldi Square is great—just a stone’s throw from the train station and taxis. Unfortunately none of the power sockets accepted our European plugs, except for the hairdryer socket in the bathroom.

All our wishes were met. The bed was wide and comfortable, and the reception was friendly. There was a bit of noise in the evenings and mornings, and our room was on the courtyard side.
