“Fijne plek na een dag Disney”
The setting is very beautiful and idyllic; arriving after 10 pm was fine, having discussed it beforehand with the owner. We stayed here after a long day at Disney and the travel time was a little half‑hour. The keys were already hanging in the door, which was very convenient. We had the Kiev and London rooms, separated by a door, perfect for our three children who each had their own room. There is a small kitchen downstairs with a fridge, coffee maker, kettle, and microwave; we didn’t use it but could have. The shower towels were nice and large. Overall we slept well, but we did point out a few shortcomings that might be useful as learning points. The shower head was broken; a rain shower didn’t work at all and the other shower head kept falling down. The temperature was hard to control (either too hot or too cold) and the water pressure was very low. The extra child bed was a hard futon; one boy came out with back pain from the bar in the middle. The window treatment was minimal; it was 27 °C so we left the windows open at night, but there was one curtain that didn’t cover the whole window, letting in a lot of light. The toilet was on the hallway, not in the room, which was annoying to use at night, especially with kids. No shower gel or similar was provided, so we had to go to the supermarket at 10 pm to get it. Because of the old construction, the building is very noisy—no criticism, just worth noting. You can hear almost everything. There were no sockets next to the two‑person bed.
