It was very affordable and pretty, though I did notice more bugs than I’d like and the room had an unpleasant odor; still, for the price I paid, it was a pleasant stay, and I had to call to get the Wi‑Fi.

“I wished I had not been there.”

It was a cheap place close to my business meetings and the neighborhood was quiet, but the room wasn’t ready when I arrived: it was scorching hot and humid, the A/C was off and the window was open, a strong perfume that didn’t fade, the bedside lamp shade was moldy (was that perfume supposed to mask the mold smell?), there was no blanket, and I ended up in a different room than the one listed on the website. The front‑door code and room name “Sunshine” were sent in a text, yet the key I picked up from the public dropbox was labeled “Cozy room,” which should have been renamed. I heard the Sunshine room had its own shower, so I wonder if the keys were swapped before my late arrival at 8 pm. I could barely sleep the first night—too hot, then too cold, the AC only had two settings and was very loud even with earplugs. I managed a little sleep on the second night thanks to a small blanket from my car. It was too late to find another place or it would have cost too much, so a full refund would be a decent response to this disappointing experience.
