The location was spot‑on for getting onto the cruise ship, but the host’s communication left a lot to be desired – we were three couples arriving at different times and he insisted we all check in together. After several phone calls and emails he finally handed the keys to the first couple, which made the whole process frustrating.

The spot was just perfect, giving me easy access to all of Trieste and even Venice. I basically slept and enjoyed breakfast at the place, otherwise I was stuck in traffic.

Breakfast was simple and good, and the host was very friendly to his guests. The room was neat and tidy, and I could reach the host easily via WhatsApp. When we arrived on 2 October 2026 to drop off our bags and log in online, there was a bit of miscommunication, but it got sorted quickly. A heads‑up: in the future, send guests a clear email a few days in advance with login instructions.

The price was good and it’s close to the cruise port, but there’s no elevator and you have to check in through your phone with no one physically there to help.
