We’ve stayed here three times with our dog, both in the hotel and the cottage, and it’s truly a village inn that feels like part of the community. Every staff member has always been very welcoming, and the Nepalese food is great.

This friendly pub offers a good selection of well‑maintained casks and keg ales, and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The highlight was the delicious Nepalese cuisine, with traditional pub food also available, and the location is a good value for exploring the New Forest.

The restaurant and food were excellent, and the bed was comfortable and clean. However, the night I stayed there featured a live band and endless noise from the bar, making it impossible to sleep before midnight; I could hear conversations in the bar just below my room, and some of the decor felt a bit dated.
