The spa was far too small and offered no relaxation at all. Despite recent renovations, the hotel feels dated, and the rooms are extremely tiny. Breakfast service was a disaster—we waited forever just to order a coffee, then waited again for it to arrive, and the buffet never got replenished. The price‑to‑value ratio simply doesn’t match a five‑star standard.

The food was excellent and the whole package clicked: the wellness area was first‑rate and the staff greeted us very warmly at check‑in. The rooms felt cozy with great beds and were spotless, yet they show their age, so the value for money feels only average; the street‑facing rooms are a bit noisy and the windows are hard to open.

The location was perfect, the cuisine was exquisite with a huge selection of fresh breakfast items, and the new wellness area and pool were very nice; however, room 220 was very small, had an old wardrobe, a key that barely fit, no discreet reading light at the bedside, overall lighting needed improvement, the bathroom was cramped with an old bathtub, the toilet was wedged between the tub and sink, there was no space for a toilet paper holder, everything felt outdated and not up to the price paid.

The breakfast buffet selection was quite narrow for the room price, and the 23‑square‑meter room had a ceiling that dropped from 140 cm to 90 cm over a 9‑square‑meter area.
