“Business of the Month Lets Us Down”

The best part of our stay at Cedar Creek Inn was that the proprietor didn't argue with me when I told him we were checking out 30 minutes after we arrived. I chose Cedar Creek Inn because of its location near the event we were attending, and it had been named the Chamber of Commerce business of the month in March, so I expected a lovely facility. I was very disappointed. There was a strong musty odor in our room. The linens didn't look fresh; there was human hair on them. In the other room we occupied, there was a couch with badly stained upholstery, and the linens there also didn't look fresh. When I pulled out a tray from the mini‑fridge, it dumped a quart of water on the floor at my feet.

“Not staying there again”

I recently stayed at this hotel, which unfortunately, was the only one available in the area. Although I was grateful for the convenience, it was a letdown to find my room in a state of disarray, with dirty surfaces and empty soap dispensers. The bathroom shower was also unclean, with hair scattered all over the place. I did manage to speak with the staff about these issues, but unfortunately, it didn't change my overall impression of the hotel.
