The restaurant was okay, but the hotel was a scam. They keep demanding money for everything, even charging a commission when exchanging euros for rupees. When we asked for a taxi to Delhi, they doubled the fare and insisted we pay immediately, apparently to take their cut. We refused to pay upfront, so they released the taxi without letting it earn, leaving us stranded. They wanted us to stay another night because getting a transfer during the Holi festival is nearly impossible. Their lack of restraint and care for guests is outrageous. I wouldn’t recommend this place; the room photos are misleading, the room smells bad, looks shabby, and the shower cabin shown in the pictures doesn’t exist. Don’t waste your vacation here. The main extortionist was in the photos, and the manager let him.
