The room was nice and the spot was exactly where we needed it; it offered great value for the price.

Not much to praise. The room required maintenance—doors, especially the bathroom door, were missing paint and the place felt generally run down. The painting over the bed was a monstrosity. On top of that, the receptionist tried to charge me an extra £5 for parking, claiming I hadn't paid in full even though I had paid everything in advance, which was disappointing.

The spot was great, the mattress was excellent, and the staff were always happy to help, yet the air‑con was broken.

The staff were polite and efficient, but the property clearly needs upkeep. We stayed in room 4, where the bathroom door was missing a lot of paint and the overall condition of the room was poor; on top of that, the painting above the bed was absolutely terrible. Aside from the staff, there was nothing else to note.
