The spot is spot‑on – right in the middle of everything I needed, and I really can’t think of anything that bothered me.

The hotel is in a handy spot – it’s actually closer to Hongling metro than the Shaibu station they advertised, and the sheets were fresh. The place was generally clean and, thank goodness, there were no cockroaches, plus there’s a halal Dungan restaurant just around the corner. On the downside, all the sockets were Chinese‑type, so I needed a European‑plug adapter that they didn’t have and refused to lend one, telling me to buy my own.
