“A disappointing place with minimum facilities”

The location is decent—there’s a backwater across the road—but there’s no on‑site restaurant; food is delivered from outside. It’s a boutique resort with very few staff. The villas aren’t well designed, and the overall facilities are minimal.

“A cute resort clean and comfortable rooms and a fabulous location”

The location, service, and courtesy of the staff were excellent; they went out of their way to keep us comfortable. The pool was reasonably clean, but I felt it could have been cleaner, so I didn’t use it.

The staff were charming, welcoming us late at night, helping us find taxis to enjoy the backwaters, suggesting a vaporetto for evening swims, and arranging a taxi to Mysore. The Indian breakfast was hearty, high quality, and less spicy for us Europeans. The pool was beautiful, but we didn’t use it because of the weather (monsoon). The site is far from everything; we needed a taxi to reach the city, restaurants, and activities.
