The historic building and its intriguing surroundings set a nice tone, and the rooms were comfortable, fully equipped, and came with en‑suite bathrooms. The room itself was quiet and met every need, though the en‑suite felt a bit cramped for a larger person but still workable. Parking overnight was charged, not too steep, but I expected it to be free.

The beds were comfy and the place was mostly spotless, with a lovely breakfast. However, our room (43) felt worn and outdated; the basin was cracked, and the room, once well finished and furnished, now needs a refit. One pillowcase was a touch dirty.
