“Lovely surroundings and a lovely staff”
So beautiful and peaceful—perfect if you want to escape everything! The beach was stunning, and the staff were lovely and helpful, so I’d definitely return. TUSEN TAKK. It’s far from everything, but that’s also nice.

Big rooms, friendly and very helpful staff. The beach is lovely and very quiet. Use Soonerng Pier if you stay here. I didn’t realize AC was an extra cost—no problem, just a heads‑up for other travellers.

The place was perfectly situated, the staff were friendly and very accommodating—like turning the music down during meals—everything was clean, the food was good and they even offered a pickup service.

We loved that it was quite remote as we like walking and was only 1.5km from the more lively area of Sooneong Pier The island is only for those who love cutting themselves off from the world and chilling The owners and staff at Romney Cozy Resort could not do enough for you to make your stay enjoyable There are some negative comments on here about the staff and owners which we don’t understand as they were lovely with ourselves The accommodation is spacious and not 4/5 star level but when you come to the 2 main islands it’s more about the experience than luxury so it’s a mind set Overall we loved our stay -Romney and his staff made us feel like family. Staff super lovely. Family‑run place and the food is delicious. We stayed in the bungalow with a fan; it was a little hot at times, but we only used the room at night, which was fine. The beach is beautiful and quiet, and we had it to ourselves most of the time. There’s little to nothing else to do here apart from the resort, which was what we wanted. One day we went to another beach and walked back at 10 pm with our phones on, which was fine. I would have spent a little more to get A/C, and I might have booked the bigger room because it was a little small with our bags, etc.
