“Mediocre”

The front desk was amazing and informative, letting me know about a conference in town that might explain why King Spa is so booked; however, the internet was hit or miss because of a storm, the restaurant staff were “okay”, I’ve never paid for a service before actually receiving it 😳, and the food was just okay.

“Lovely!”

The hotel offers plenty of green areas and EV chargers, but I couldn't figure out how to reach the outdoor pool.

“It was a nice place but the staffs focus was on the events they were hosting not any other guest.”

The property is huge, yet the events kept the amenities off limits for other guests, creating a lot of noise and activity.

“Enjoyable but Pricey”

I loved the location—just minutes from most places we visited—and the property itself is beautiful. An item in our room was initially broken, but it was fixed by the time we returned. The staff were very nice, greeting us in the morning as we walked by, and the doorman was pleasant on the first day, opening the door and getting a cart for us. Overall I was satisfied. The bathrooms are small, with the door, toilet, and shower cramped together. One curtain in our room was split at the top, making it hard to open and close; the staff fixed it after I mentioned it. The bed was uncomfortable; we’ve had much larger king beds elsewhere. There was no microwave in the room, and the mini‑fridge didn’t cool anything the first day; it’s unclear if the staff adjusted the setting on the second day, as it cooled our drinks then. For the price we paid, I expected something a little different—other places offered more bathroom space, a microwave, a bigger bed, and a more comfortable mattress. Despite these issues, we enjoyed our stay.
