This was our second time staying here. The first time we were very enthusiastic and had a great experience, which is why we decided to come back. Unfortunately, this second stay was very disappointing. There is still no proper access road to the property, which makes arriving quite inconvenient. The room was not clean upon arrival — there were stains on the bed linen, the toilet was dirty, and overall the room did not feel properly maintained. In addition, the staff was not friendly or welcoming. We also stayed in a room where, whenever it rained, we heard a constant loud dripping noise. At night, the dripping noise became so loud and constant that we were unable to sleep — even while wearing earplugs. When we reported this, the staff said they were not aware of the issue. However, it was clearly visible that there had been multiple leak repairs in the room before, so this response felt dishonest. Overall, this experience was very disappointing compared to our first stay. Sadly, we will not be returning

I was thrilled by the location, the staff were friendly, and the room was spotless—exactly as the photos showed. We’d definitely come back if we’re in Ubud again. Everything was fine.

The room was clean and the spot was central enough. The pool was a mess; it never drained, so for all three days it stayed stagnant. No food or drinks were provided, which isn’t a huge issue, but a minibar at reception for cold drinks would be a nice touch.
