It has an old‑world charm. The location is central to shops and restaurants. The bathroom is clean. The bedroom feels old‑world with the right furnishings. There’s no laundry service – Derynia simply doesn’t offer one.

The place is clean, the bed is comfortable, the check‑in explanations were clear, and the owner was responsive and kind when we had an issue. The window faces the street directly, so we couldn’t open it or the shutters without being in the line of sight of passersby, making ventilation impossible; it would have been better to have a courtyard‑view room, but we didn’t know that existed until the end. We would have liked to know there was a shared courtyard to enjoy the outdoors.

On Saturday night the locker on the room door was faulty. We called them and they arrived at 22:00 and fixed it. The pillows aren’t very comfortable.
