Everything was perfect: parking in the driveway, fantastic hosts (extra points for Ed!), a spacious, quiet room (room Lotte on the 2nd floor); everything was spotless, good Wi‑Fi, close to the city center or the bus stop right in front of the building, a recommended restaurant nearby (Tramhalte), a chance to chat with everyone at the round breakfast table, comfy beds. The steep stairs in Dutch houses don’t need mentioning; the shower with clear glass right in the living area is a bit unusual. The value for money is unbeatable. A very tasty breakfast with a view of the nicely laid out garden. A very fitting stay in a beautiful, worth‑discovering city. Full marks.

The location with the lovely garden is beautiful, a 15‑minute walk to the center. The owners are very welcoming and the breakfast is well prepared, good coffee too. The rooms are upstairs in the owners’ house and the entrance is through the house; we found it cozy but it would have been handy to know that.
