The overall cleanliness was decent. The area around the hotel is somewhat underdeveloped, but the hotel itself is quite good.

The hotel is okay but feels overpriced, likely because it sits in a very touristy town full of Chinese with money to spend. The building is older and shows its age, but the room was clean and the young reception staff were sweet and very helpful. If you want a quiet stay, this is not it! We arrived on Sunday, and that day is apparently a big night market and karaoke night right in front of the hotel. The music started around 6 pm and didn’t stop until 11:45 pm, all very loud with many not‑so‑good singers. At night you hear dogs barking, and in the early morning the prayers begin. But if you’re into an authentic experience, you’ll love it.

The owner speaks Chinese, the staff are very polite, the room is clean and tidy, and there’s a balcony for hanging clothes; the value for money is high. The town’s conditions are poor, so this is one of the few decent hotels. The sewer has a slight odor, which is understandable for a seaside location.
