The hotel was close to the airport, which helped with a late arrival home. The room was clean and the bed was not too bad, but I couldn’t get a cooked breakfast. I found the bed not very comfortable and had some trouble with the pillow. The parking lot was pretty full when we got there, but I eventually found a space.

I chose this place because of its location and reasonable price, but the parking spaces and the lighting in the parking area could be improved.

The staff were friendly, warm, and welcoming, but the room’s cleanliness was lacking: the sink had whiskers from someone’s shave stuck to it and the floor was not clean either.

We paid a reasonable price for a place to sleep, the staff were friendly and the evening restaurant was good. However, we had booked rooms that included breakfast, but at check‑in they told us they couldn’t provide the paid breakfast and refused a refund. They offered a continental breakfast that was just two pieces of brown toast and coffee. The rooms and the hotel overall need refurbishment; everything looks very tired, which is acceptable if the price is very good.

Everything was perfect: the staff were welcoming and warm, the charm of Linton Hotel is unique, and the restaurant was delicious.
