The staff were very friendly and ran the place well. Breakfast was fine. It was the only accommodation in a fascinating area with Finland on the other side of the river. I appreciated that there was a kitchen for bringing my own food, a microwave, and a few tasty items for purchase, especially since there are very few restaurants around. The only thing missing was shampoo in the bathroom – only soap was provided, but it was more than enough. No real criticism, just a note.

The room was very nice with a view of the river, tastefully decorated though a bit plain. The owner was helpful with my questions. The community was lively and bustling. The breakfast was ridiculously sparse and almost Spartan.
