“Normal”
The location is excellent for getting into the city center, but the room lacks heating and has very little hot water.
It was spotless and roomy, yet the lockers were awful.
“I think this hostel is getting abandoned”
The bed was comfortable and warm at night, but the location was hard to find since the sign is on top of a bistro. No one was at reception during midday or in the evening, so we wasted a total of 30 minutes on check‑in. The toilet has no seating, like in a village, the bed sheet is too small and doesn’t stay in place at night. Getting out early is difficult because the door is locked; you have to wait and may have to wake up the person with the key.
The place was huge and super quiet, but the reception was sometimes empty.
The courtyard garden was nice, but we felt like the only guests and it was dead on Sunday and Monday with no music; on other days it was extremely loud until late if you stayed in one of the double rooms on the courtyard because the door is a flimsy "shed" door. The shower was temperamental and the room itself was very dim. When we tried to leave early at 6:45am, nobody was around to let us out and we had to ring the bell for at least 20 minutes.
