The view from the hotel is nice, but on the day we arrived the kitchen took a long time to prepare our meal at the restaurant. It was tasty, they apologized, but we were in a hurry to explore. Some areas were a bit dirty because of ongoing repairs, but overall it was fine.

Everything feels like home; the service and attention are spectacular. We were allowed to enter the room a couple of hours early and stayed after checkout to keep using the facilities. Breakfast served by the pool was lovely, and for lunch Mrs Tere cooked a delicious fish a la diabla. The value for money is excellent. Nothing was wrong; everything was perfect.

Very central, and the Chinese lady who cooks in the mornings is a superb cook with an excellent attitude toward guests. Kudos to her! I liked everything.

The Mazunte bungalow room is nice, a bit spartan but with a stunning ocean view and a private patio. The room has AC, fans, blackout blinds, and hot shower water. Common areas are pleasant, breakfast is good, and the restaurant offers tasty food in a lovely setting. The staff are learning and trying to please. The location is a drawback: the small beach is a short walk away, but beyond Puerto Angel, a local fishing village, there’s nothing within walking distance. A car is needed, and the place isn’t suitable for those with mobility issues due to many stairs and difficult access by foot or car. The room lacked basic amenities—no drinking water, no coffee maker, and coffee was only provided after repeated requests. The bathroom layout was odd, with the toilet area not fully enclosed. Construction ran from 7 am to 5 pm, so we couldn’t use our balcony because the noise and loud music from below were extremely disruptive; the impact varied by room location. No advance warning or price adjustment was given for the construction. The property feels like a work in progress—potential is visible, but at the moment things are hit or miss. No assistance was offered for carrying bags to and from the room.
