Checking in was a breeze at the bar—no ID or credit card required—and the place felt very family‑friendly. Parking was right outside the room door, and at night we could leave the door open for fresh air while the mosquito net kept insects out, which made us feel safe. Deer wandered out of the forest right up to the motel, and the dead‑end location meant no traffic noise except for a few nearby motorcyclists; it’s probably the only motel with a toilet brush and hand shower, and we really enjoyed our two nights. The bathroom was tiny, especially the gap between the sink and the toilet, but that matched what the photos had shown.

“Pleasant stay in woodsy style room in residential neighborhood”

The cabins sit in a residential block off Main St, which is both convenient and quiet. Our room was one of three attached cabins and was a good size. The whole experience felt more like an Airbnb than a motel; we never met any staff and it was self‑check‑in. It worked fine for us, though some might not appreciate that setup.
