“Lovely hotel, almost perfect!”
The highlight was definitely the linen, super soft large towels and bedding, a huge comfortable bed, a fabulous location, great breakfast, spotlessly clean rooms, and helpful, friendly reception staff. Small details let the hotel fall short of its 4‑star rating: although a kettle and cups were in the room, tea bags and coffee had to be bought at the bar downstairs, which was not ideal; there was no minibar, just a fridge; the bathroom was a little tired and we had a leak on our sink that we reported but wasn’t fixed during our 3‑day stay; there was a nice small spa area, but you had to book in advance and pay extra for a 2‑hour slot, and the jacuzzi was a little worn out with all the buttons falling off 🤣
