“From the outside it does not look like a hotel. I did however had a great stay and will book again.”
I stayed on the upper floors where the reception sits, and after 5pm I had to grab my keys from a locker box outside—easy enough. The neighborhood is quiet with restaurants close by. The room wasn’t huge but worked well for one person; the shower stream could be stronger, but it was fine. I appreciated that I could open the window.
“building with a history.”
Breakfast was fantastic. The hosts brewed me a cup of coffee and let me leave my luggage while I went sightseeing.
The location is excellent, with good subway access and many restaurants nearby. The breakfast is very good, featuring homemade jam.
“It is the place where I feel myself at home in Munich. Special thanks to Mrs. Michel for her hospitality and friendlynes”
The place was spotless, the location was great, and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were very friendly, and there was nothing to complain about.
“Great hotel with lovely owners in an excellent location.”
This hotel sits in a charming old building full of character in Munich’s University and Museum/Gallery district, about a 20‑25 minute walk from the city centre and very close to the English Garden. Tanja and the other owners were friendly and accommodating, letting me store my bags at the hotel on my checkout day until late in the evening because I was catching a night train to Brussels. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and clean, and the breakfast was excellent.
