The hostel was a relaxed spot, perfect for crashing after a day of sightseeing, and the owner was the best – even though he didn’t speak English, we managed with a translator and he was incredibly helpful and friendly, even treating us to his homemade alcohol. The downside was that the owner couldn’t access online bookings because his son handled that remotely, so sorting details like a single large bed instead of two twins could be tricky; I’m not sure about the summer breakfast, but the March one was okay, though the same every day.

The host was very friendly, and the hotel sits right next to the Prometheus Cave, making a visit convenient. The only outlet is in the corner of the room and there’s no bedside lamp; the shower splashes water everywhere, even on towels and toilet paper.

The garden is lovely and the place is just a three‑minute walk from the Prometheus Cave. Reviews mention a great owner, but I never got to meet him. When we arrived the hotel was completely empty, there was no electricity or water, and the carpet in the room was covered with dead insects, so we had to cancel our reservation and head to Kutaisi.

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's convenient location, situated just a stone's throw away from the breathtaking Prometheus Cave. The availability of on-site parking was also a major plus, making it easy for me to come and go as I pleased. However, I did notice that the hotel's interior could use a bit of an update, and the Wi-Fi connectivity was a bit spotty at times. Overall, the hotel's proximity to the cave and parking facilities made up for some of its minor drawbacks.
