What a fantastic stay at By Appointment Suites! The host Liz went above and beyond in everything she does, from Whatsapping me updates about potential water issues in JHB, to ensuring the room was clean and warm every time I came home, and making special accommodations for me at every turn. The rooms are extremely well stocked with complimentary snacks and every amenity one might need. I also highly recommend opting for a breakfast as it was hand delivered on a tray and was so delicious. Will definitely be coming back!

This was the most pleasant stay in Johannesburg so far; it felt like a home away from home given my circumstances back in England, where I was nursing a fractured right‑hand wrist in the snow. I never felt so welcomed and cared for! I’d highly recommend a visit and would come back repeatedly if the facilities stay the same. I loved being here, and now that I know they offer extra services like nails and massages right next door, I’ll try that next time. I can’t wait to return. I can’t think of anything I didn’t like—everything was perfect for me, so comfortable that I couldn’t even go out for a walk, which I really wanted to do, but I always had a lie in. It’s a very peaceful place.
