The location is very good. The bed is very uncomfortable, lighting is poor, the shower is subpar, and the door is hard to lock and unlock – it needs replacement. There’s no place to plug two phones at once. The space could be great if updated. The owners had just taken over and were busy running their bakery, so the timing was unfortunate for us.

The location is superb, check‑in is easy with a coded box for the key, parking is nearby, and shops and restaurants are close by. The bathroom feels luxurious with a rainfall shower, and the TV and mini‑fridge are a great bonus, even fresh milk inside. The bakery next door is a smart idea for breakfast and morning coffee. The room could use a little TLC – scuffs on the walls, mould in the shower tray, and it’s very light at night, so blackout blinds would help. A kettle with tea and coffee would be nice, but the teabags are just on the side; a small jar would be better. The mattress feels a bit lumpy on the edges; a topper could improve it.

The location is excellent, the shower and facilities are good, and minor issues were fixed right away. Even with the heatwave, the room was comfortable and had a useful fan. Elle was a local contact who was excellent and prompt. Minor glitches with the TV and internet connection. A skip was close by, but that was beyond the owners’ control and didn’t affect the stay. The downstairs room has a door straight onto the street, making it hard to hang the “make up my room” sign without it blowing off. Parking was a problem, but that’s expected in a busy, popular area.

The spot is good, parking is easy, and the room is very comfortable. The shower is nice, and checking in and out was simple. Nothing else to note.
