“Would recommend this if you have plans to be out and about for most of your stay.”

It’s the very definition of budget friendly; the bed was very comfortable and the room had all the amenities you need in a beachside escape, so I slept well and can’t complain there. The staff kindly helped carry my bags up a steep set of stairs. Breakfast was very basic, not quite a Turkish breakfast but nice that it’s an option, and the place felt safe. However, although the map shows it’s not far from town, it’s up a massive hill. There was a language barrier with the staff, who were often not at reception, so I had to call out for them, which felt strange. The room I was put in was on a corner, so I could hear all the activity in the side alley, and one night there was such loud music that the AC didn’t even drown it out. It’s good for people who can handle stairs and cobblestones, but a little inaccessible for someone who would struggle.

The top‑floor room was bright and cozy. Staff were very nice. Breakfast was plentiful. I was nervous about arriving at 2 am, but the receptionist opened the door immediately and even helped with my luggage. The manager assisted me when I got lost on the bus routes. A golden tip: take any bus that comes, don’t ask the driver about Yalıkavak or other destinations; just go wherever and you’ll find a transfer. The beaches, led by restaurants, are simply amazing.
