The hotel was located directly on the lake. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired: dust in the room, a dirty balcony rail, a lot of spider webs on the balcony, a dirty table on the balcony (coffee ring), the toilet smelled strongly of urine. The toilet brush holder and the toilet brush were heavily soiled. The towels were broken and dirty, and the breakfast tables were dirty.

The place sits in a great spot, but the room wasn’t as tidy as it could be and the air‑con kept rattling all night; a few extra toiletries would have been nice for the price.

The staff are friendly. The price‑performance ratio for breakfast and the restaurant is poor, and there are only a few parking spots at the hotel. The daily parking fee is about nine euros, and when you arrive or leave your car you have to step half onto the road.

The spot was perfect—right on the Ammersee with a pier and easy access to the water. The spa area was very small, for example the relaxation room had only four loungers, there was just one sauna and one steam bath, and the room was too cramped for a longer stay.
