The place is very pretty and welcoming, meticulously cared for and spotless. I’m grateful to the owner, Danilo, who was very friendly and gave useful advice about local sights and the best restaurants to eat at. We were better off than in a hotel!!! Highly recommended!! We’ll definitely come back.

Room size (larger than average), bathroom with a window, and tasty Italian breakfast. The host’s availability, attention to detail, and cleanliness of the rooms were appreciated. The mattresses were a bit uncomfortable. A suggestion: add a bench or stool in the bathroom.

Everything exceeded my expectations; Danilo, the owner, turned out to be a fantastic host, very friendly and helpful, guiding me around Piancastagnaio and nearby spots and recommending great restaurants, plus he was an excellent conversationalist. The rooms were impeccably clean and fully equipped. I strongly recommend it.
