Breakfast was okay, but it was odd that everything was already set up—coffee was pre‑served and left to cool, and nobody else was around. The check‑in was self‑service and no one else was seen. The curtains were hanging on the floor, and a swarm of insects appeared! We had the bathroom to ourselves, but if more guests arrive it would have to be shared. The price feels too high for what’s offered.

The location worked for us because we were heading toward eastern France, and the rural setting was quiet. The bedroom, however, felt very gloomy.

The place was quiet and idyllic, but the rolluik (shutter) that didn't work was a nuisance.

The location is nice and the host friendly, but there is no private bathroom—it's on the other side of the corridor and only private if you're the sole guest. The doors make a lot of noise when opened or closed (perhaps a drip of oil would help). Breakfast was very basic, and you don't need an alarm clock because the dog starts barking under the window at 6:30.
