I liked the accommodation, it was great for the weekend, and breakfast was delicious. Even though it's a hotel, it feels more like a small family inn, cozy yet comfortable. The pool was good, the sauna was adequate, though it lacks a sand timer and is a dry sauna. One downside: the shower doesn't let you set the water temperature (hot or cold) and you only get hot water after a long wait.

The hotel is very beautiful and in a gorgeous location. Breakfast and dinner were both excellent. I must highlight the staff's friendliness and helpfulness; the three ladies did everything to make us feel at ease. There were no negatives.

The food seemed to be the only thing we liked. We had a terrible experience overall. We chose the two‑bedroom apartment. The rooms were unrenovated, furnished and equipped at the level of 20–30 years ago, according to the standards of that time. In the photos on Booking the other rooms look much better. It was so bad that we almost left as soon as we entered the rooms. The price we paid for the room we stayed in is at least double what it should be. No mention of 4‑stars or “the pearl of Apuseni.” The paved courtyard where they project films in the evening is shabby and unwelcoming. The leisure lake on the premises is in a ditch, without additional services (boat, fishing, lakeside dining, etc). The published photos are deceptive. The surroundings are rural, with stray dogs, weeds everywhere, nothing to see or visit. There is nowhere to walk.

The area was nice. There was no kettle in the room and no refrigerator.

The staff were very kind, supportive, and helpful – they were the best. The room was quite cold and there was no heating control in the room.
