The spot is great—being in a landmark is simply wonderful. The facilities are exceptional, and the bathroom was freshly renovated. The staff were very friendly in their correspondence. You can make coffee or tea in the room or anywhere in the building at any time. Parking is free. A TV or radio in the evenings would have been nice, and I thought €9 for the breakfast selection was a bit steep.

The old gasworks is clean and cozy, very quiet, with a unique atmosphere surrounded by beautiful nature. The staff are extremely friendly and very likable, a real treasure. We've been here three times and keep coming back. For us, the old gasworks is a special place. Nothing disappointed us, but you should know the stairs are steep, so you need to be sure you can handle them. That wasn't a problem for us.

The preserved interior atmosphere and the owners' decision to forgo a restaurant kept it quiet and peaceful after a full day of hiking! There were no negative points.
